Something Different, Off Topic

Hey guys, so I generally only use this blog to to talk about this site, and to let you know when I make changes to it. But this past week someone introduced me to something, and I wanted to share it with anyone who likes this sort of thing. As you may or may not know, I’ve been finishing up my semester, which means I’m pretty much constantly studying for something (part of the reason I haven’t had time to make any new backgrounds in a while). While I was studying with a friend, and we took a break, he showed me this online game that he plays when he has a little bit of free time. It looked interesting so I signed up to play, and since then I have been hooked. The game is a browser based game, meaning you don’t have to download or install anything to play, you just need an internet browser. Also, it is completely free to sign up and play, all you need is an email address. I also like it because you don’t have to spend a lot of time to play it, just log on a few times a day to make changes. It reminds a bit of a RTS (real time strategy) game. Anyway I thought I’d put a link here so you guys could check it out if you need something to fill those odd times when you have nothing to do. Hope you guys check it out and like it as much as I do!

New Update Coming!

I have been super busy these past few weeks, mainly with the end of my semester coming up, so I haven’t had anywhere near the amount of time to work on backgrounds as I would like, but I have made a few. I will continue to make them as fast as I can, so keep looking for updates! Once I’m done with all my classes I should be able to start adding new backgrounds every week again. Thanks for your support!

Added New Backgrounds

For this update I added 12 new backgrounds to the Backgrounds page. I also made a few changes to the site, primarily to the navigation bar at the top of each page. This type of update is what I hope to make a weekly event, adding a few backgrounds. This will become much more common once I have made the site exactly how I want it, so I won’t have to make any changes to the layout and can focus on making new backgrounds. Let me know what you think of the new additions, and keep checking back for more!

Changed Email System, Added Submit Backgrounds Page

This is another site update that doesn’t include any new backgrounds. For this update I added a form to the Contact page so that you will no longer need to use your email application to email me, but can instead email me directly from this site. I also added a Submit Backgrounds page, where you can send me your own backgrounds and I will add them to my page. I will use my discretion to decide which backgrounds to add, but all are welcome to submission.
